TechRecon and the slides are the work of the AWS team. Kiani's part was the script and the coaching. Page through the slides below; the script for each slide appears under it.

Script

We are not just suggesting you put an AI agent to this goal – we have actually developed one for you. We call it TechRecon – your AI Reconnaissance agent. And to show you how it works, I’d like to invite a Solution Architect from our Cross Industry team in Korea to the stage. She volunteered to build this agentic system.

The talk

TechRecon is an open-source agentic AI system that companies can deploy on AWS. A supervisor agent directs planner, researcher, coder, and reporter agents, which together produce a report on emerging technologies and position papers on the highest-scoring ones. The talk walked the audience through how it works, a demo, and sample reports.

How he coached it

Kiani recorded himself reading the script over every slide, so the speaker could hear how each line should sound. Then he coached her on:

  • Pace. A steady tempo, slow enough for each point to land.
  • Pauses instead of “um”. When the next word does not come, stay silent.
  • Emphasis and inflection. Stress the words that carry the meaning.
  • Projection. Speak to the back of the room.
  • Confidence. Own the material on stage.
  • Hand movements. Gestures that support the words.
